Hello Peeps!! Wow, it has been a whirlwind around here lately! The Artists Music Guild’s Inaugural Convention went off without a hitch! We filmed for our new PBS documentary and outlined musical history within the United States. What we were not expecting was to have over 2000 people in the audience! It was off the chain!! There were people everywhere!! They were sitting and standing.. There were people on the main floor and then people all in the balconies! I am telling you right now, we are going to have to step it up for next year!! We raised so much food and awareness for our partners at Turning Point (Centers for Domestic Violence). Even after the convention we continued to get calls to come over and pick up food that was still coming in. What a blessing!! I would like to thank all of you who have had me in your prayers during these rough months. I am still not feeling very well and remain very tired most of the time, but I think it’s because they are still trying to get the medications leveled out. I would also like to thank everyone who sent me messages and cards expressing their concern and love over the loss of my Grandmother. She died just one day before her 96th birthday. I was so blessed to have known her and to have had her as such a force in my life! I miss her every day, but I know that she would never want to come back here after tasting what Heaven is like! We were in a car accident on Thanksgiving Day and very fortunate that no one was hurt! But it makes me think that we always need to be ready for whatever comes our way because we never know! After getting in that accident I sat at our families house and I watched them buzz around and I thought to myself; how would they be reacting right now if the accident would have been worse? It wouldn’t have just changed my life; it would have changed every ones! This is why I know that we need to be careful of what we do because our actions affect everyone around us! Funny how small things can make us think of big outcomes! I just want you all to know that you are ALL so very special to me. I appreciate your support and prayers. I appreciate those of you who have contacted me regarding my health. But I appreciate most of all the people who I may never know or hear from who come to this web page and go away with a little more knowledge of who I am and what my heart is about!
